Parallax Replenish

Cycle Parallax Wave and Parallax Tide into the graveyard, cast Replenish, then exile the entire battlefield with Opalescence on the stack.

Game plan

A graveyard combo deck built around the interaction between the Parallax enchantments and Replenish. The combo requires three pieces: Parallax Wave, Parallax Tide, and Replenish — with Opalescence as the enabler.

Setting up: Discard Parallax Wave and Parallax Tide to the graveyard using Attunement (discard 3, draw 1) or Frantic Search (draw 2, discard 2, untap 2 lands — effectively free). Intuition searches for three cards and puts them in your hand or graveyard, assembling the combo.

The combo turn: Cast Replenish (4 mana, return all enchantments from your graveyard to play). If Opalescence is already in play, Parallax Wave (now a 4/4 creature) uses its fading counters to remove opposing creatures from the game. Parallax Tide exiles all their lands. With no creatures and no mana, the opponent is dead.

The clever part: Parallax Wave can target itself. By removing the last counter and exiling Wave, then letting Tide do the same, both enchantments return to play at end of turn — but by then the opponent has conceded.

Orim’s Chant (not in this list but often sideboarded) protects the combo turn by preventing the opponent from casting spells or activating abilities. Swords to Plowshares and Seal of Cleansing handle early threats while you assemble pieces.

Ancient Tomb accelerates into a turn-2 Attunement or Frantic Search, making the deck faster than it looks. The weakness is graveyard hate — Tormod’s Crypt and Planar Void blank the entire strategy.
